INFORMATION SOUGHT IN RETAIL THEFT  Sought 
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in a Retail Theft investigation.

At approximately 12:30 am, on Sunday, August 4, 2013, two individuals entered the Dollar General Store located at 109 South Charleston Avenue, Fort Meade.

The pair each selected hygiene products, clothing and food from the shelves then concealed the items.

When they approached the register, they attempted to pay for some items, but when confronted about the items they were attempting to steal, the suspects fled the store with the merchandise leaving in a white van.

The first suspect is described as a white female with shoulder-length blonde hair wearing shorts and a light colored top, she appeared to be in her late 40s.  The second suspect was a white male in his late 20s to early 30s.  He was wearing a plaid type black, silver and white pair of shorts.  He was also wearing a Dale Earnhardt ball cap.
