INFORMATION SOUGHT IN BANK ROBBERY  Sought

Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in a Bank Robbery investigation.

At approximately 1:50 pm, on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, a light completed black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 200-210 pounds entered the Mid Florida Credit Union located at 300 Amersweet Way, Davenport, and passed the teller a note demanding cash implying he had a gun.

The suspect was described as having on a dread-locks style wig, sun glasses, a mustache and goatee which appeared to be a disguise and was wearing khaki pants, a white and blue plaid button up shirt, and tan shoes.

After taking the money, the suspect fled the bank on foot, to a waiting vehicle behind the building.  The vehicle appears to be a dark colored SUV.

The same suspect is wanted for a Bank Robbery which occurred an hour earlier in Auburndale at the Bank of America located at 300 Havendale Boulevard.  In this case, the suspect entered the Bank of America at 12:41 pm, wearing the same disguise as describe above and also presented a note to the teller demanding money.

Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit at 863.298.6200.  (To view video of the Mid Florida suspect and suspect vehicle, please visit http://on.fb.me/1dreLUV)
