Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft investigation that occurred on Monday, August 27, 2012, at the Circle K located at 2425 W. Memorial Blvd., Lakeland.

At approximately 9:56 p.m., the black female suspect, approximately 20-25 years of age, wearing a black shirt and jean shorts, entered the store and stood in line to pay for gas.  While standing in line the suspect picked up a magazine and then placed it back on the shelf.  Once she finished paying for the gas she picked up the magazine again and left the store with it in her possession.  The suspect walked out to the gas pumps where she entered a white in color SUV and left the scene.
