INFORMATION SOUGHT IN RETAIL THEFT  Sought 
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in a Retail Theft investigation.

At approximately 12:20 pm, on Thursday, August 28, 2013, a white male described as being in his 20s entered the Quick Mart convenience store located at 3074 Rifle Range Road, Winter Haven.

The suspect asked how much a carton of Newport 100 cigarettes were, exited the store for a short time, and then later returned with a credit card to apparently purchase the cigarettes.

When the store clerk placed the carton of cigarettes on the counter, the suspect grabbed the cigarettes and fled from the store without paying.

The suspect was seen fleeing the area in a black four-door car.   The suspect was described as being less than six feet tall with “tattoo sleeves” on both arms.  He was wearing a black shirt black shorts and black shoes.
