INFORMATION SOUGHT IN RETAIL THEFT  Sought

Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft investigation.

At approximately 2:50 a.m., on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, a theft occurred at the Circle K located at 4415 Old Kathleen Road in Lakeland.

The first suspect is a white male approximately 20-25 years of age wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.  The suspect entered the store and walked to the beer cooler.  The suspect took two cases of beer and walked to the register.

The second suspect is a white male approximately 20-25 years of age wearing a blue shirt and plaid shorts.  The suspect stood at the register talking to the cashier while suspect one retrieved the beer.

The cashier advised the beer could not be sold so the two suspects left the store without paying for the merchandise.  The suspects fled in a blue Chevy Silverado truck.

Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact Detective Douglas at 863-577-1600 or 863.298.6200.
