INFORMATION SOUGHT IN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in an Attempted Robbery investigation.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:05 am, Thursday, September 06, 2012, at the BP gas station (Town Star) located at 7030 Highway 27, Frostproof.    

The suspect is described as being approximately 5’8” – 5’9” tall, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray denim shorts, and black shoes, and having a thick Hispanic accent.

A small white 2-door vehicle was observed leaving the area heading westbound on Hwy 98.
