INFORMATION SOUGHT IN RETAIL THEFT  Sought 
 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft investigation. 

At approximately 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 29, 2013, a retail theft occurred at the BP Station located at 628 Wabash Avenue in Lakeland. 

The suspect in the photo, a white male, approximately 20-25 years of age, wearing a dark t-shirt and dark shorts entered the store and requested to purchase 2 cartons of cigarettes.  Once the clerk placed the cartons of cigarettes on the counter the suspect grabbed the cartons and fled the store without paying for the merchandise. 

The suspect was seen leaving the area in an unknown type black four door passenger car.
