INFORMATION SOUGHT IN A THEFT   Sought 
 Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in a theft investigation.

 

At approximately 5:24 p.m., on Sunday, October 1, 2017, a victim left her cell phone on the front counter while paying for items at the Kathleen Food Mart located at 6403 Kathleen Road in Lakeland. A white or Hispanic male located the victim’s phone and placed it into his pocket.  

 

The suspect male is described as being 45 to 55 years of age, approximately 5’8” in height, wearing a dark ball cap, blue jeans, and a maroon shirt. The suspect fled in an older model green minivan in an unknown direction on Kathleen Road.
