Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a Conveyance Burglary/Credit Card Theft investigation.

In the predawn hours of Saturday, November 9, 2013, in the Austin Circle area of Bartow, an unknown suspect(s) removed a victim’s purse from her vehicle.  The victim’s credit card was inside the purse.  At approximately 3:12 am, on the same day, the stolen credit card was used at the Circle K convenience store located at 310 W. Main Street, Bartow, to make a fuel purchase.  There were only two individuals who entered the store from the area of the fuel pumps; a white male and a black male.   

The white male is described as wearing a light colored shirt with dark pants.  He had a short, or shaved style, haircut. 

The black male is described has wearing a dark jacket with lighter colored designs on the sleeves.  He wore blue pants and had earphones.
