Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred at the Citgo gas station located at 1218 Rifle Range Road in the Wahneta area of Winter Haven. Around 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2008, an unknown Hispanic male walked into the store and pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at the clerk, demanding money. A second unknown Hispanic male stood at the door and held it shut during the robbery.

Both suspects fled the scene in a tan or beige 4-door car, which was last seen heading north on Rifle Range Road. A video surveillance photo of the car and one of the suspects can be seen here.
