Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a battery investigation. 

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017, a battery occurred at the Circle K located at 205 Commonwealth Ave in Polk City.  

An unknown Hispanic male entered the business with a Hispanic female and several children. While in the business, the suspect battered the clerk on duty. The suspect fled the location in a 4 door truck, possibly a Nissan, with a tag that begins with “CGV”. There was also a handicap tag in the rearview mirror.
