INFORMATION SOUGHT IN MISSING PERSON’S INVESTIGATION  Captured

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in a missing person’s investigation.

Lakeland resident, Abraham Shakespeare, 43-years-of-age, DOB 04/23/1966, was reported missing on November 9, 2009.  His friends and family advised detectives that Shakespeare was last seen in the Lakeland area in early April, 2009.

Detectives do not consider Shakespeare a suspect in any open investigation; however they are concerned about his well-being after having no contact with his family since April, or over the recent Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

There is a $5,000.00 cash reward offered for information leading to Shakespeare’s current whereabouts.

Shakespeare is a Florida Lottery winner from November 2006.  The jackpot total was $31 million.  In April 2007, Shakespeare was sued by a co-worker who alleged that Shakespeare had stolen the tickets from him.  Shakespeare won the suit in October 2007.

Shakespeare is described as a black male, with brown eyes and black hair.  He is approximately 6 foot 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detective David Clark at 863.534.6379, or 863.534.6200.
