Polk County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public’s help in a Retail Theft investigation.

On or about December 19, 2013, an unknown suspect(s) stole merchandise from Southern Comfort Antiques, located at 29119 Hwy. 27, in Dundee. The suspect(s) stole a “Royal Doulton Jack Russell” dog figurine and a crystal “Lalique” figurine of “the Virgin Mary”.    The stolen merchandise had an approximate value of $675.00.

A younger, tall, thin, heavily tattooed, white male subject accompanied by a younger, black haired, heavy set, white female (with a stroller) inquired about the merchandise during the same time frame as the theft.  The subjects were with another couple and left shortly before the items were discovered missing.
