Information Sought in Homicide  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are seeking information about the homicide of an elderly man that occurred in Fort Meade on March 21st or 22nd, 2008.

Around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 22nd, the body of Estavan Valadez “Tio” Rodriguez, who was approximately 75 years old, was found by his employer outside the travel trailer in which he lived at Jose Gracia Harvesting, 910 West Rhoden Loop Road in Fort Meade. “Tio” was last seen alive around 7:00p.m. on Friday, March 21st. Detectives believe he was robbed and then killed. “Tio” lived on the property for the past 10 years and worked for Jose Gracia.
