Information Sought In Personal Armed Robbery  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about a Personal Armed Robbery that occurred in Auburndale on Thursday, April 3, 2008.

At approximately 2:00 am, on April 3, 2008, two males were walking home from work north along Norman Lane, Auburndale, when they observed a red, four-door, Chevrolet Tahoe turn onto Norman Lane from Highway 92.

The vehicle passed the pair then turned around and approached from behind. Three suspects exited the Tahoe, and began coming toward the two men.

One of the men was able to flee as he observed the suspects exit the Tahoe. The second was struck on the face with a handgun and the suspects took personal property from him. The suspects were last seen making an eastbound turn onto Highway 92.

The suspects were three black males, possibly in their 20s. One suspect was described as being approximately 5’8”, 175 pounds, wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun.
