Information Sought In Retail Theft and Battery  Sought 

At approximately 6:39 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2008, two suspects left the Marshall’s Department store, 3615 South Florida Avenue, without paying for  merchandise. As the suspects were leaving the store, they were confronted by one of the store’s employees. They began to wrestle with the employee, kicking him during the struggle.

An off-duty Lakeland Police Officer came to the employee’s aid. He was struck on the back of the head. The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a black Nissan Altima.

Two of the suspects can be seen in the photo that accompanies this release. They are described as: (1) white male, wearing a red t-shirt, with black collar length hair and a goatee; (2) white male, wearing a maroon jacket, and ball cap. He had collar length hair dyed red on the ends, and was seen wearing a cap at the time of the incident. A third suspect was a female observed in the Altima. She is described as having brown hair.
