Information Sought In Home Invasion in Davenport  Captured 

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about a home invasion that occurred in Davenport on Thursday, May 1, 2008.

Around 10:45 p.m. that evening, an unknown black male suspect, without permission, entered a residence located within the Island Club West subdivision in Davenport and demanded money from the victim who lives there. The suspect also struck the victim with a closed fist and threatened further harm.

After robbing the victim, the suspect went outside and attempted to remove items from the victim’s car. A witness tried to stop the suspect, and the suspect hit the witness and then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20’s, about 5’6”-5’8”, thin build, with a dark complexion and short hair, wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants, and a bandanna over his face.
