Information Sought In Armed Robbery At Pizza Hut  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred in Winter Haven on Saturday, May 17, 2008.

Just before midnight Saturday evening at the Pizza Hut located at 500 Overlook Drive in Winter Haven, an unknown black male suspect entered the carry-out restaurant armed with a dark semi-automatic handgun in one hand and a rock in the other. After robbing the cashier and victims of an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled north from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30’s, between 5’10” and 6’ tall, approximately 250 lbs., wearing black shorts, a black baseball style shirt, camouflage mechanic’s gloves, and a camouflage hunting mask with a black hockey mask over the top of it.
