Hidta Task Force makes Several Arrests and Seizes Five Kilos of Cocaine 

The Polk County HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Task Force, which includes members from PCSO, FDLE, WHPD, LPD, and Lake Wales PD, working undercover, arranged to meet a group of people and buy from them 5 kilograms of cocaine on Friday, October 7, 2005, in Bartow.

The following individuals, all from cities outside Polk County, showed up to complete the drug deal, and were arrested:

Ofelia Tranquilino, DOB 4/11/66, of 1931 31st Avenue in Bradenton, charged with 1 ct. Trafficking Cocaine in Excess of 400g and 1 ct. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

Martin Valdivia-Serena, DOB 2/23/75, of 509 East 26th Street in Bradenton, charged with 1 ct. Trafficking Cocaine in Excess of 400g and 1 ct. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

Carlos Antunes-Salgado, DOB 5/05/1976, with no known address, charged with 1 ct. Trafficking Cocaine in Excess of 400g and 1 ct. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

Javier Reynoso, DOB 4/12/1978, of 11888 US Hwy 41 South lot 82 in Gibsonton, charged with 1 ct. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

Victor Romero-Reynoso, DOB 6/16/1982, of 921 East Street in Palmetto, charged with 1 ct. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine

Rumaldo Vargar, DOB 7/19/1979, of 23008 16th Avenue Circle E in Palmetto, charged with 1 ct. Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine
