Five Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges

Following a undercover operation by the Polk County Sheriff's Office Bureau of Special Investigations Narcotics Unit, five suspects were arrested yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001) on methamphetamine charges.

The following were arrested:
Russell French, DOB 6/10/76, of 4720 Oleno Avenue in Lake Wales.
Susan French, DOB 1/19/71, of 4720 Oleno Avenue in Lake Wales.
Terry Storeby, DOB 11/21/64, of 640 Magnolia in Waverly.
Edward Eitner, DOB 10/11/75, of 4975 Greyhound Avenue in Lake Wales.

All four above suspects are charged with Conspiracy to Traffick in Methamphetamine over 200 grams. They were booked in to the Polk County Jail.

Also arrested and charged was:
Vivian Smith, DOB 7/10/53, of 4431 Lake Buffum Road in Lake Wales, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.

As a result of the undercover operation, the five suspects were arrested without incident yesterday around 2 p.m. at the French residence located at 4720 Oleno Avenue in Lake Wales. During the investigation, an undercover detective purchased 1 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine from the suspects. The investigation is continuing.
