Property Viewing Set for October 5th and 6th

A property viewing of items believed to be stolen from the string of burglaries in the South Lakeland area over the summer has been set for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 5-6, 2001, at the Lake Village Mobile Home Park Community Center located at 277 Lake Erie Drive in the South Lakeland/Mulberry area.

The property viewing on Friday will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The viewing on Saturday will be from 9 a.m. to noon.

Property at the viewing will include over 300 items consisting of laptop computers, cell phones, VCRs, DVDs, video tapes, wallets, purses and other personal items.

Proof of ownership, such as a receipt, identification/serial numbers, a report on file with the Polk County Sheriff's Office or a photograph of the property will be required.
