4 Charged with Sale of Alcohol to a minor

In a combined effort to combat the sale of alcohol to minors, the Polk County Sheriff's Office Vice Unit, the Sheriff's Office Explorer Program and agents from Alcohol Beverage and Tobacco charged four store clerks for selling alcohol to a person under 21.

 In response to complaints received from the community, a total of six stores in the Winter Haven/Auburndale area were checked for violations on February 15, 2001. During the operation, four of the six store clerks sold alcohol to a person under the age of 21. 

The following were charged with Sale of Alcohol to a Person Under 21 (M2): 

Tai Quoe Tran, DOB 6/22/59, of 505 Walnut Street in Auburndale. 

Ethel Harris Reynolds, DOB 10/31/22, of 2241 Ellie Road in Auburndale. 

Kleiber Lima Tum, DOB 7/21/50, of 149 Palm Drive SW in Winter Haven. 

Judith M. Mann, DOB 6/4/46, of 2350 US Highway 92 #19 in Winter Haven. 

The four stores where clerks sold alcohol to a person under 21 are: 

Citgo located at 123 Magnolia Avenue in Auburndale

 XYZ Liquor Store located at 1075 Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven

Fine Food Supermarket located at 1450 Lake Shipp Drive in Winter Haven

Island Food Store located at 3355 Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven. 

The investigation is continuing.
