Lakeland Man Arrested for Dealing in Stolen Property

Polk County Sheriff's Office Detectives have arrested and charged a Lakeland man after he sold undercover detectives crack cocaine and agreed to sell them stolen pit bull puppies.

Arrested and charged was:

Horace Jackson, DOB 2/24/81, of 1132 W. 13th St. in Lakeland, charged with Dealing in Stolen Property, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, and Grand Theft. 

During the investigation, Jackson met with 2 undercover detectives and offered to sell them crack cocaine. A transaction was made and the suspect left. Approximately 20 minutes later, Jackson returned to the residence with 3 pit bull puppies and agreed to sell them for $250.00 each. Jackson stole the puppies from a residence located on Crescent Dr. in Lakeland. Jackson was arrested at that time and booked into the Polk County Jail.
