7 arrested during investigation targeting prostitution 

Polk County Sheriff's Office Bureau of Special Investigations detectives, arrested 7 suspects Thursday, Feb. 22, during an undercover operation targeting prostitution activity in the Wabash area of Lakeland. During the undercover operation, the following were arrested and charged: 

Ray Peer, DOB 9/12/24, of no known address, charged with Soliciting Another to Commit Prostitution. 

John Worthington, DOB 6/10/82, of Dacca Dr. in Lakeland, charged with Soliciting Another to Commit Prostitution. 

Gasper Messina, DOB 5/4/36, of 1540 Sir Henry Trail in Lakeland, charged with Soliciting Another to Commit Prostitution. 

Leonides Baltazar, DOB 6/13/72, of Dover, charged with Soliciting Another to Commit Prostitution. 

Gregory Grimes, DOB 3/1/55, of 6801 Barbara Jean in Polk City, charged with Soliciting Another to Commit Prostitution. 

Ruben Sylva, DOB 6/22/45,of 207 E. Sara St. in Beeville, Texas, charged with Soliciting Another to Commit Prostitution. 

Sengado Saikho, DOB 3/23/71, of 5224 Harvard St. in Lakeland, charged with Soliciting Another to Commit Prostitution. 

All suspects were arrested and booked into the Polk County jail. The investigation is continuing.
