Law Enforcement & Public Safety Career Fair Set for This Saturday

The Polk County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Job Fair will be held this Saturday, January 5, 2002, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Tiger Town Hanger #2, located on North Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. 

The job fair will showcase the wide variety of law enforcement and public safety careers available in Polk County. Recruiters from numerous Central Florida agencies will be on hand to share employment facts and information about individual job opportunities, and to guide interested candidates in the application process. 

Admission to the job fair is free, and free parking will be available. The following are scheduled to participate in the event: Polk County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement agencies, corrections/drill instructors, fire departments, emergency management services, career counselors from PCC, police academy counselors.
