Alert Issued By FDLE for PCSO - Missing 2 Week Old Baby
Polk County Sheriff's Deputies are looking
for a two-week-old baby taken from DCF shelter by her mother. Desiree
Reyome, born on 3/7/2004, was placed in a sheltered home by DCF at 1:00
a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, in the K-Ville area of Polk County.
The baby's mother, Lisa Nicole Steverson, DOB 6/19/85, was also in that
home, and disappeared with the baby between the hours of 6:30-10:30 a.m.
in the homeowner's vehicle.
Desiree needs medical attention. The Department of Children and Families
has issued a pick-up order for her. PCSO has issued warrants for Lisa
Steverson's arrest, on charges of Grand Theft Auto and Interference with
Desiree Reyome is a white female, 2 weeks old, 6 lbs. 13 oz., 20 inches
long, strawberry blonde hair. The child was last seen at the 1300 block
of Sumner Street in Auburndale, Florida and is believed to be in danger.
The child is believed to be with her mother, Lisa Nicole Steverson, a
white female, 18 years old, 150 lbs, 5 feet 3 inches tall, brown hair,
brown eyes. Raymond Eugene Reyome, a white male, 35 years old, 5 feet 8
inches tall, 175 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes, may be with the
mother and child.
In the past Raymond has made threats to law enforcement and has a
history of violent behavior. He has an extensive national criminal
history, including charges of: Aggravated Battery on a Law Enforcement
Officer, Arson, Battery, Armed Robbery, Grand Theft, Petit Theft,
Grand Theft Auto, Burglary, Attempted Grand Theft Auto. He has tattoos
on his left hand, left shoulder, and right arm. He has current warrants
for his arrest on unrelated charges of Littering and Grand Theft Auto.
The vehicle they may be traveling in is a 1984 4-door silver Toyota
Corolla, Florida tag G60-NPM. There is a Harley Davidson tag in the rear
window. There is a sticker that says "Payday" on the right side of the
trunk near a rust spot. There is a red, white & blue bandanna and
several strands of beads hanging from the rearview mirror. The black
molding on the driver's door is also missing.

Detectives and deputies from the Sheriff's Office followed up 39 leads
throughout the night searching for the missing baby. They have
interviewed family, acquaintances, and residents, and searched every
hotel/motel in the county. The FDLE and FBI are working diligently with
this agency to help find Desiree. The Amber Alert will be in effect
until the baby is located.
