Three Arrested in Early Morning Crime Spree
Three white males have been arrested and
charged with multiple counts of burglary, arson and armed robbery as a
result of a short lived crime spree in the Combee area.
Kenny Cecere, date of birth 11-02-85; James Anothy Constantino, date of
birth 08-08-84; and a juvenile were arrested.
At approximately 6:49 am on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, the Polk County
Sheriff’s Office received a call from a woman advising that while
waiting for a school bus on Tenoroc Mine Road, her 15 year-old son had
been robbed at knife point by two white males wearing bandannas.
The suspects took the youth’s backpack that contained his text books,
and a cell phone. The 15 year-old was not harmed and the suspects
fled in a beige van.
As deputies began their investigation, a vehicle fire was reported in
the area of Webb Road and East Lake Parker. Upon gathering
information surrounding the vehicle fire, other related incidents began
Reports indicate that the three suspects stole a van sometime during the
late night or early morning hours and utilized that vehicle to
burglarize several other vehicles in the Combee area and rob the youth
at the bus stop.
In addition to the car burglaries, the suspects have been connected to a
business burglary that occurred at the Moose Lodge located on East Lake
Parker Road. After robbing the youth, they drove to the Webb Road
location and set the stolen vehicle on fire.
This is an on-going investigation.
