Three Arrested in Early Morning Crime Spree

Three white males have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of burglary, arson and armed robbery as a result of a short lived crime spree in the Combee area.

Kenny Cecere, date of birth 11-02-85; James Anothy Constantino, date of birth 08-08-84; and a juvenile were arrested.
At approximately 6:49 am on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a woman advising that while waiting for a school bus on Tenoroc Mine Road, her 15 year-old son had been robbed at knife point by two white males wearing bandannas.  The suspects took the youth’s backpack that contained his text books, and a cell phone.  The 15 year-old was not harmed and the suspects fled in a beige van.

As deputies began their investigation, a vehicle fire was reported in the area of Webb Road and East Lake Parker.  Upon gathering information surrounding the vehicle fire, other related incidents began to surface.

Reports indicate that the three suspects stole a van sometime during the late night or early morning hours and utilized that vehicle to burglarize several other vehicles in the Combee area and rob the youth at the bus stop.

In addition to the car burglaries, the suspects have been connected to a business burglary that occurred at the Moose Lodge located on East Lake Parker Road.  After robbing the youth, they drove to the Webb Road location and set the stolen vehicle on fire.

This is an on-going investigation.
