One of Polk's 'Top Five Most Wanted' Arrested

One of Polk County's "Top Five Most Wanted" fugitives was arrested yesterday (Wednesday, July 28, 2004) by Polk County Sheriff's Office Warrants Unit detectives.

Chacoey Untray Johnson, DOB 2/24/79, of Mulberry, was arrested yesterday on outstanding warrants for Armed Robbery with a Firearm, Discharging a Firearm in Public, Battery, VOP Sale of Cannabis,  FTA Sale of Cannabis, FTA Possession of Cannabis (2 counts), FTA Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,  and  Nonpayment of Child Support. He additionally was charged with Resisting an Officer Without Violence for attempting to elude detectives.

PCSO Warrants detectives received information that Johnson - a top five most wanted fugitive - was possibly in the Willow Oak area. They responded and apprehended the suspect as he attempted to hide in the attic of a residence located at 2880 2nd Avenue in Willow Oak. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Polk County Jail on no bond.
