Convenience Store Clerk Robber and Killed

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are conducting an investigation today into the robbery and homicide of a convenience store/gas station clerk in Dundee.

Priteshkumar M. Amin, nicknamed "Pat", DOB 10/28/73, of 3315 Oakhill Place in Winter Haven, was working as usual at the Superway #6 store at 201 SR 542, or Dundee Road, this morning. He was last seen alive by a nearby car wash owner at 6:30 a.m. and was found dead inside the store around 7:15 a.m. by a customer. The store had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash, and Amin had been shot and killed.

PCSO is seeking the public's help in finding the person(s) responsible for this crime. If anyone saw or heard anything in and around this area between the hours of 6:30 and 7:15 a.m. they are urged to call the Sheriff's Office at 863-534-6200, or to remain anonymous and  be eligible for a cash reward, call Polk County Crimestoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (3477).
