 Operation Pop Top Results 


In an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, PCSO School Resource deputies, along with the help of Polk County Explorers, checked 10 stores in the Winter Haven area. Nine of the stores checked were in compliance. Deputies arrested 18-year-old Angela Garcia of 123 7th Street in Winter Haven for one count Sale of Alcohol to a Minor - she works at the Marathon gas station located at 2600 Havendale Blvd in Winter Haven.

The following stores were in compliance: 

-          7Eleven, 4000 Spirit Lake Rd, Winter Haven

-          MVP Food Store,  3006 Spirit Lake Rd, Winter Haven

-          JK Foods, 3355 Spirit Lake Rd, Winter Haven

-          Circle K, 4980 Spirit Lake Rd, Winter Haven

-          Circle K, 1108 Spirit Lake Rd, Winter Haven

-          Sunoco, 3317 Ave G NW, Winter Haven

-          Superway Foods, 2415 Ave G NW, Winter Haven

-          Cash Mart II, 1290 34th St NW, Winter Haven

-          D & I Food Mart, 1915 34th St NW, Winter Haven
