 Operation Pop Top Results  

On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors in the Lakeland area. 12 stores were checked and 12 were in compliance.

"We are consistently encouraged that the vast majority of retailers in our area comply with the laws prohibiting selling alcohol to minors. We thank them for their diligence. Those who do not comply will be held accountable.”  Grady Judd, Sheriff

The following stores were in compliance:

 Wawa – U.S. 98 South, Lakeland

 7-Eleven - 2010 Edgewood Dr. S., Lakeland

 Avaneesh Smoke Shop - 1615 Edgewood Dr., Lakeland

 Sunoco - 1605 E. Edgewood Dr., Lakeland

 Highland Food Mart - 3501 Cleveland Heights Boulevard, Lakeland

 Alamo Quick Mart - 4607 S. Florida Avenue, Lakeland

 7-Eleven - 4975 S. Florida Avenue, Lakeland

 Marathon - 933 W. Pipkin Rd., Lakeland

 Citgo - 1155 W. Pipkin Rd., Lakeland

 Medulla Marathon - 3230 W. Pipkin Rd., Lakeland
