PCSO deputies searching an area around Millsite Lake have found a body in the lake, positively identified as 17-year-old Jonathan Christopher. PCSO Marine Unit members located the body in the water on the north shoreline of Millsite Lake. This area is near where Christopher was last seen on Tuesday, December 8, 2014. He had been involved in a single car crash with minor damage to a fence in the 7000 block of Crystal Beach Road in Eagle Lake, FL. He walked away from the crash. He was later reported missing the next day by his family when he did not return home from school.
Dr. Stephen Nelson, M.E., has positively identified the body as that of Jonathan Christopher through dental records comparison. Dr. Nelson did not find any injuries or evidence to suggest foul play, however, the cause and manner of Jonathan’s death are pending toxicology results.
