 Operation Pop Top Results 


On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors, in the Bartow and Mulberry areas. Six stores were checked, and five were in compliance.

"We are consistently encouraged that the vast majority of retailers in our area comply with the laws prohibiting selling alcohol to minors. We thank them for their diligence. Those who do not comply will be held accountable.”  Grady Judd, Sheriff

The following stores were in compliance: 

RaceTrac - 1690 North Broadway Ave, Bartow

Sunoco - 1385 North Broadway Ave, Bartow

Sunoco - 1900 West Main St, Mulberry

Best Value Food Store - 607 East Canal St, Mulberry

7-Eleven - 7040 SR 37 North, Mulberry

29-year-old Decembra Vincent of Mulberry, who works at the Shell gas station located at 104 North Church Street in Mulberry, was arrested and charged with selling alcohol to a minor.
