On April 19, 2014, PCSO deputies discovered a marijuana grow house in the Kissimmee area. PCSO Undercover Narcotics Unit detectives responded and dismantled it. The homeowner was arrested.
Detectives searched the home, located at 1596 Perdido Court in Kissimmee, and located an indoor marijuana grow operation in three separate rooms, including 28 mature plants, exceeding the 25-pound threshhold for trafficking charges. The plants were seized and the grow equipment was destroyed.
The resident, Alfredo Aroche-Mosegui (DOB 9/14/1973), was arrested and charged with: one count Cultivation of Marijuana, one count Trafficking in Marijuana, one count Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, one count Maintain Dwelling for Drug Manufacturing.
He was additionally charged with one count Child Neglect due to the presence of his 10-year-old son in the home. The boy's mother responded to the scene from Miami to take custody of her child.
