PCSO Deputies Arrest Kissimmee Woman For Theft and Use of Stolen Credit Cards

On Monday, April 21, 2014, PCSO Fraud detectives arrested 34-year-old Charmaine Wallace of 483 Big Sioux Court in Kissimmee, and charged her with several crimes related to the theft and use of stolen credit cards to purchase goods online.

According to the affidavit, Wallace used two different victims' stolen credit cards to purchase the following items online: 18 sleeping cots valued at $570.10; and 12 sleeping cots, nap mats, a table & chairs va;ied at $831.02. The vendor from whom she purchased the items, Internet Marketing, also suffered a loss of $570.10 when the money for first set of items was charged back to the victim's credit card by the credit card company due to the fact that they were fraudulently purchased.

PCSO detectives intervened during the delivery of the second fraudulent order for $831.02 when they were alerted by the owner of Internet Marketing, Mr. Louis Bergeron. As the items were delivered to the suspect Wallace, PCSO detectives executed a search warrant at her home, where they located several of the previously purchased items.

After her arrest, Wallace admitted to detectives that she used stolen credit cards to order these particular items in order to resell them. Wallace told detectives she purchases victims' names, SSN's, DOB's, and other personal information as well as credit card information for $50 each from an acquaintance of hers. The investigation is ongoing.
