PCSO Undercover Narcotics Detectives Dismantle Marijuana Grow House

On May 20, 2014, PCSO deputies discovered a marijuana grow house in the Combee Road area of Lakeland. PCSO Undercover Narcotics Unit detectives responded and dismantled it. The two residents in the home were arrested.

Northwest District patrol deputies responded to 3925 Combee Road Lot 11 in Lakeland and located several mature marijuana plants growing in the side yard of the property. PCSO undercover narcotics detectives responded to the scene, and interviewed the adult male and female residents, who were there with three small children.

29-year-old Kenneth Becraft and 22-year-old Savannah Reeves admitted to growing the marijuana. Detectives collected 41 marijuana plants from the yard and found a small amount of marijuana in the living room. Detectives contacted DCF in relation to the children who were in the home, and they were subsequently placed with a grandparent.

Becraft and Reeves were both arrested and charged with: one count Cultivation of Marijuana; one count Possession of Marijuan Over 20 Grams; one count Maintain Residence for Drug Use; one count Possession of Paraphernalia; and one count Child Neglect.
