 Operation Pop Top Results  

On Thursday, August 24, 2017, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors in the Lakeland and Mulberry areas. 12 stores were checked and 12 were in compliance.

"We are consistently encouraged that the vast majority of retailers in our area comply with the laws prohibiting selling alcohol to minors. We thank them for their diligence. Those who do not comply will be held accountable.”  Grady Judd, Sheriff

The following stores were in compliance:

7-Eleven – 3071 Hwy 98 S., Lakeland

Our Store - 6916 S. Carter Rd., Lakeland

Murphy Express - 6801 N. Church Ave, Mulberry

Speedway - 6808 S. Florida Ave, Mulberry

Racetrack - 6486 S. Florida Ave, Mulberry

Tri-Star Sunoco - 1790 Shepherd Rd., Mulberry
