 Operation Pop Top Results 


On Thursday, August 31, 2017, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors in the Mulberry and Winter Haven areas. Nine were in compliance, and a store clerk was arrested at one store for selling alcohol to a minor.

The following stores were in compliance with the law:

104   N. Church Ave. Mulberry

506   W. Canal St. Mulberry

1285 N. Church Ave Mulberry

6801 N. Church Ave. Mulberry

31-year-old Kristina Torres of Orlando, who works at the store located at 2885 Havendale Blvd in Winter Haven, was arrested for Sale of Alcohol to a Minor.
