"PCSO On Patrol" Twitter Calls For Service Debuts This Friday

On Friday, September 6, 2013, in support of Local Works Day* (http://floridagovcoalition.com/2013-initiative), the Polk County Sheriff’s Office will host a virtual ride-along with a PCSO deputy sheriff on patrol, titled “PCSO On Patrol.”

PCSO Public Information Officer Carrie Eleazer will ride with a deputy sheriff in his or her patrol car, and send out via live Twitter feed and Facebook updates various photos and comments about different calls for service to which they respond.  This will give Polk County residents a first-hand look at the day in the life of a patrol deputy and the valuable services he or she provides to the citizens of Polk County.

Follow us on Twitter at @PolkCoSheriff on Friday, September 6, 2013, from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., for live calls, crashes, and arrests! Also Like us on Facebook & Follow along (www.facebook.com/polkcountysheriff)! #PCSOonpatrol
