 Operation Pop Top Results 


On Thursday, September 29, 2016, PCSO School Resource deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteers), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors, in the Winter Haven area. Eight stores were checked, and all but one store was in compliance.

The following stores were in compliance: 

MVP Food Store, 3000 Winter Lake Rd, Winter Haven

Circle K Store, 1108 Spirit Lake Rd, Winter Haven

Del's Go Shop, 906 Coleman Rd, Winter Haven

Marathon, 1660 Lake Shipp Dr, Winter Haven

Sunoco, 1502 Recker Hwy, Winter Haven

Superway Food Mart, 2590 Recker Hwy, Winter Haven

Holy Land Grocery, 329 26th St, SW Winter Haven

7-Eleven, 4000 Recker Hwy, Winter Haven

43-year-old Renee Blackburn of Winter Haven, who works at the Marathon gas station located at 2600 Havendale Blvd in Winter Haven, was arrested and charged with selling alcohol to a minor.
