 Operation Pop Top Results  


On Thursday, October 12, 2017, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors in the Winter Haven, Eagle Lake, Bartow, and Mulberry area. 12 stores were checked and 12 were in compliance.

"We are consistently encouraged that the vast majority of retailers in our area comply with the laws prohibiting selling alcohol to minors. We thank them for their diligence. Those who do not comply will be held accountable.”  Grady Judd, Sheriff

The following stores were in compliance: 

Chevron - 558 N. 5th St., Eagle Lake

Racetrac - 11023 US Hwy. 17, Winter Haven

Citgo - 4660 US Hwy. 17, Eagle Lake

Circle K - 1060 E. Van Fleet Dr., Bartow 

Sunoco - 1385 N. Broadway Ave., Bartow  

Racetrac - 1690 N. Broadway Ave. Bartow

Sunoco - 1500 W. Main St., Bartow

Sunoco - 611 E. Canal St., Mulberry

Shell - 104 N. Church Ave., Mulberry

BP - 904 W. Canal St., Mulberry

Sunoco - 1285 N. Church Ave., Mulberry

7-Eleven - 7040 N. Church Ave., Mulberry
