On November 14, 2013, Polk County Sheriff’s undercover detectives executed a search warrant at 1103 Partridge Way in Poinciana when they were alerted to unusual activity consistent with a grow house operation.
During the search, detectives located three rooms in the residence that were being used as an indoor marijuana grow. Detectives seized 67 juvenile marijuana plants, 26 electric ballasts, 26 light hoods, 24 high intensity light bulbs, 32 pounds of harvested marijuana buds that were drying, and 83 pounds of marijuana plants separated from the buds. The total weight of the marijuana seized was approximately 115 pounds.
Detectives made the following arrests:
Francisco Danilo Rodriguez-Larrinaga, DOB 05-01-65, of 12040 SW 185th Terrace in Miami; charged with: trafficking cannabis over 25 pounds, maintain residence for drug trafficking, cultivation of cannabis, grand theft of utilities, poss. drug paraphernalia;
Hector Amado Pena-Ruiz, DOB 07-23-68, of 3561 East 6th Av in Hialeah; charged with: trafficking cannabis over 25 pounds, cultivation of cannabis;
Leonor Perez-Diaz, DOB 11-02-63, of 2 SW 72nd Av. in Miami; charged with: trafficking cannabis over 25 pounds, cultivation of cannabis.
All three suspects were booked into the Polk County Jail.
