 Operation Pop Top Results  


On Friday, December 8, 2017, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors in the Lakeland area.  

11 stores were checked and 10 were in compliance.

"We are consistently encouraged that the vast majority of retailers in our area comply with the laws prohibiting selling alcohol to minors. We thank them for their diligence. Those who do not comply will be held accountable.”  Grady Judd, Sheriff

 

The following stores were in compliance: 

Race Trac - 6486 S. Florida Avenue, Lakeland

7- Eleven - 7040 SR 37 N., Lakeland

First Stop Liquor - 1125 Shepherd Rd, Lakeland

Marathon - 3230 West Pipkin Rd., Lakeland

Drane Field Citgo - 1950 Drane Field Rd., Lakeland

Circle K - 3730 Airport Rd., Lakeland

Express Food Mart - 4301 New Tampa Hwy., Lakeland

Three B’s Ammaco - 5565 New Tampa Hwy., Lakeland

Shell - 4275 New Tampa Hwy., Lakeland

Sunoco - 1790 Shepherd Rd., Lakeland

 

28-year-old Kimberly Ann Carbonari of Lakeland, who works at the Circle K located at 850 County Line Road, in Lakeland was arrested and charged with selling alcohol to a minor.
