In May 2015, Central Florida HIDTA detectives received information that Shawn "Yoshi" Bordeaux was operating a Drug Trafficking Organization, or DTO in Polk County.  His supplier, Adrian Dunn was providing Bordeaux trafficking amounts of cocaine that Bordeaux would then sell to Williams and others in the organization.  Williams acted as a street level seller who dealt directly with buyers.  Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify all members believed to be a part of the organization.  Polk County Sheriff's detectives partnered with LPD detectives and FBI special agents to effectively combat this DTO.

Investigators learned Dunn would be making a delivery to Bordeaux on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Lake Miriam Publix shopping plaza.  During the early morning hours PCSO and HIDTA detectives intercepted the delivery and arrested both Dunn and Bordeaux.  One kilogram of powder cocaine, $36,000 dollars in U.S. currency, Bordeaux's 2011 Buick Lacrose (value $24,200), and Dunn's 2013 Chrysler 300 (value $34,300) was seized.  Dunn and Bordeaux were booked into the Polk County Jail.

Simultaneously, detectives executed search warrants at Bordeaux's Eagle Ridge Loop residence and Dunn's Sanoma Drive residence.  Detectives located approximately $13,624 dollars in U.S. currency, multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia, and two semi-automatic handguns in Dunn's residence.  Detectives located $20,360 dollars in U.S. currency, a .45 caliber Taurus semi-automatic handgun, and two (2) 80" Samsung LED televisions were seized at Bordeaux's residence.

Subsequently, a search warrant was executed at Lori Smith's residence, 2683 Champion Ridge Drive, Lakeland - a location Dunn used as a "stash house."  From that location, detectives found a kilogram of cocaine along with $26,000 dollars in U.S. currency.

Also on December 10, 2015, detectives had received information that McKinley would be driving a grey 2015 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck bearing Florida tag DFN-M33.  The vehicle was reported stolen to the Lakeland Police Department on December 1, 2015.  A traffic stop of the vehicle resulted in the arrest of Donavan Wilson - McKinley was not in the vehicle.  Detectives located powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and $3,111 dollars in U.S. currency in the stolen vehicle.  Wilson was arrested and booked into the Polk County jail.

Detectives also learned Johnathan McKinley owned four separate storage units at the Discount Mini Storage located at 3709 East Ventura Drive, Lakeland.  A search warrant was executed at units 209,210, 181, and 182.  From those storage units detectives located a Smith & Wesson .40 caliber handgun, plastic bags containing methamphetamine and $10,000 in U.S. currency.  Detectives are actively seeking McKinley.

On December 11, 2015, detectives with the HIDTA Unit seized drug proceeds belonging to Shawn "Yoshi" Bordeaux from the bank accounts of Oneisha Davidson, which totaled $11,404.95 dollars.

On December 15, 2015, detectives conducted a warrant round up of 16 suspects and seized $6,922.00 in U.S. currency was seized, along with a gold bracelet valued at $20,000, and three (3) firearms. (Bordeaux and Dunn have been in jail since their December 5, 2015 arrest.)

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information in the whereabouts of 30-year-old Johnathan McKinley is urged to contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 863.298.6200
