 Operation Pop Top Results  

On Tuesday, February 6, 2018, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors in the Winter Haven area. 12 stores were checked and 11 were in compliance.

"We are consistently encouraged that the vast majority of retailers in our area comply with the laws prohibiting selling alcohol to minors. We thank them for their diligence. Those who do not comply will be held accountable.”  Grady Judd, Sheriff

The following stores were in compliance: 

7-Eleven – 4000 Recker Highway, Winter Haven

Circle K – 1050 Spirit Lake Road, Winter Haven

RaceTrac – 11023 U.S. Highway 17 S., Winter Haven

Wawa – 1490 3rd Street SW, Winter Haven

7- Eleven – 1099 1st Street S., Winter Haven

Circle K – 1000 1st Street S., Winter Haven

Citgo – 100 Central Avenue, Winter Haven

Sunoco – 1202 6th Street NW, Winter Haven

RaceTrac – 810 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven

Chevron – 2049 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven

Citgo – 1690 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven

39-year-old Rosanie Louigene of Lakeland, who works at Chevron located at 2885 Havendale Boulevard in Winter Haven, was arrested for sale of alcohol to a minor.
