At approximately 4:07 p.m., December 15, 2010, PCSO deputies responded to a citrus grove near Water Tank Road in the area of Bice Grove Road in Haines City, where the deceased body of Elder Easi Pimental Chilin, DOB 12/23/1983, of 131 Veranda Chase Drive, Lawrencevile, Georgia, was found.

Polk County Sheriff's Office Homicide detectives quickly identified Israel "Churro" Jesus Perez, DOB 12/25/80, of 1910 Verano Drive., Apt C. in Haines City, as the suspect in Perez's death.

After further investigation, detectives tracked 30-year-old Israel Perez to a Budget Inn motel in Tallahassee, Florida. On December 17, 2010, Israel Perez was arrested by Tallahassee PD after being contacted by PCSO detectives. He was charged with First Degree Muder for the homicide of Elder Esai Pimental Chilin. He was brought to Polk County and booked into the Polk County Jail on December 21, 2010.
