On Friday, June 26, 2009, after receiving information about possible drugs and explosives, members of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Drug Unit, PCSO SWAT team, PCSO Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, or HIDTA, Task Force, Federal ATF Agents, and Florida State Fire Marshals Agents, executed a search warrant at a north Lakeland residence.
Inside the residence, 2303 Limedale Road, Lakeland, detectives found methamphetamine, a handgun, and drug paraphernalia. Four adults, and 3 young children ages 6 years, 3 years and a 9 month old infant, were inside the residence at the time.

Chauncey was not at home at the time.
Also located in the motor home were numerous handguns and rifles. During a search of a semi-trailer that was parked next to the motor home on the property detectives located a number of weapons to include numerous handguns, a silencer, rifles, and ammunition.
Also located in the semi-trailer, was a homemade bomb, and numerous bomb making materials. Agents with the ATF and State Fire Marshals’ Office assisted with the bomb and other explosives that were located at the scene.
Detectives also located a Harley Davidson motorcycle determined to have been stolen out of Winter Haven in 2008. Several animals at the scene were removed by PCSO Animal Control, to include a 12 foot Boa Constrictor snake that was located in the motor home with the meth lab.
Crews, Combee, Cox, and Pettis were arrested at the scene without incident and transported to the Polk County Jail. The Department of Children and Families responded to assist with the care of the children.
