 PCSO Detectives Arrest Seven During Undercover Operation on Idaho Avenue 


Polk County Sheriff's undercover detectives from the Vice Unit, assisted by undercover detectives from the Narcotics Unit, Tactical Drug Unit, and Intelligence Unit, arrested six women and one man on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, during an operation that focused on drugs and street prostitution in the Idaho Avenue area of Lakeland.

“We responded to citizen complaints, and were able to put the people behind bars who were wreaking havoc on this community in Lakeland,” said Sheriff Grady Judd. “We are sending a clear message to everyone -- if you sell drugs or prostitute yourself on the streets of Polk County, we will put you in jail.”

The operation was conducted in response to the numerous citizen complaints received from people living in the area. The 6-hour operation resulted in the following arrests:  

Heather Gregory, DOB 7-31-1976, of 211 #6 Idaho Avenue, Lakeland; Charged with: Soliciting Prostitution (1st time offense)

Misty Morrison, DOB 11-13-1985, of 5117 Gabriel Drive, Lakeland; Charged with: Soliciting Prostitution (2nd Offense); Solicit Another to Commit Lewdness; Battery of an Undercover Officer; Possession of Cocaine; 2 counts Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Linda Leverich, DOB 11-7-1961, of 3236 J&J Manor, Lakeland; Charged with: Soliciting Prostitution (2nd Offense) 

Carol Espenship, DOB 2-4-1984, of 2914 NW 32nd Street, Gainesville; Charged with: Possession of Zolpidem With Intent to Sell; Possession of Zolpidem; Possession of Cannabis Less Than 20 Grams; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Antonio Toliver Johnson, DOB 11-17-1972, of 2426 Tanglewood Street, Lakeland; Charged with: Possession of Zolpidem With Intent to Sell; Possession of Zolpidem; Possession of Cannabis Less Than 20 Grams; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Michelle Lee Thompson, DOB 3-29-1972, of 817 N. Scott Avenue, Lakeland; Charged with: Soliciting Prostitution 3rd Subsequent Offense (14 Prior Prostitution Arrests)

 Renee Love, DOB 2-11-1971, of 211 Arizona Avenue, Lakeland; Charged with: Soliciting Prostitution
