Public and Media Invited to Attend Mulberry Sheriff's Station Open House

The public and media are invited to attend an open house tour of the Polk County Sheriff’s Mulberry Station on Thursday, February 4, 2010, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The PCSO Mulberry Sheriff’s Station is located at 104 South Church Avenue in Mulberry.

PCSO Crime Prevention Specialists and Special Operations will be on-hand to share handouts, information, and tours of the facility and equipment, such as the PCSO Humvee, armored personnel carrier, and airboat.  Light refreshments will be served.

"We are proud to partner with the City of Mulberry, and our deputies have been committed to providing the best law enforcement service possible since this partnership began in August 2009,” says Sheriff Grady Judd. “This is a great chance for the residents who haven’t yet had the opportunity to meet the deputies who patrol their city and discuss their priorities for law enforcement.”

For more information, contact Sgt. Rian Shea at 863-354-6545.
