48-year-old Robert Allan Stafford of 6223 Alabama Ave., Lakeland was arrested and charged with 60 counts of Possession of Obscene Material/of Sexual Conduct/Performance by a Child (child pornography—F.S. 827.071(5))—F-2. Each charge is a 2nd degree felony.
Quoting from the arrest affidavit:“Post Miranda suspect advised the following: He purposely downloads child pornography for the purpose of masturbating. After he receives sexual gratification he deletes the child pornography. If any child pornography is located it’s his. The youngest child victim that he has seen was approximately 2 years of age. He is only sorry because he got caught.
An on sight preview was conducted which revealed 60 videos and/or images that depict a child engaged in sexual acts with adults and other children and/or displaying their genitals in a lewd manner.”
23-year-old Bryan Christopher Shumate of 625 Alberta Ave., Auburndale, was arrested and charged with 4 counts of Possession of Obscene Material/of Sexual Conduct/Performance by a Child (child pornography—F.S. 827.071(5)). Each charge is a 3rd degree felony.
Quoting from the arrest affidavit:
“Post Miranda suspect advised the following: He is addicted to child pornography. He has been downloading child pornography since he was 14 years old. He masturbates while watching child pornography. The youngest child victim of child pornography was approximately 5 years old. He prefers prepubescent boys.
An on sight preview was conducted which revealed 4 videos and/or images that depict a child engaged in sexual acts with adults and other children and/or displaying their genitals in a lewd manner.”
